Tips to generate light environments

A house is naturally lit a larger house, active and enjoyable. The essential element to achieve this are the windows and proper guidance. But when we want more clarity it is possible to apply some tricks to get the most out of the available light.

The color of the paint

Light colors are best suited for small spaces and low light. They reflect light and make the room look spacious. Therefore it is recommended discarding warm tones and or dark. White is the king of light.

If you prefer a wall in a more intense color it is recommended not facing a window, choose another.



Curtains

The fabrics suitable for curtains are clear, preferably white and light. If at any time of the day you need some darkness you can use a double curtain with heavy or dark fabrics, or "blackout".

Glass doors

The doors can be replaced by ordinary glass doors that allow the passage of light from the outside or between more and less luminous rooms of the house. The glasses are usually transparent or translucent if you want more privacy.

Furniture

Lower cabinets are preferred in light shades. It is important to get a correct distribution of furniture.

Fabrics and accessories

While it is good that the fabrics can also use light colors, this is the ability to generate a contrast light or give the touch of color into the room, because they are smaller areas that do not reflect much light.
